High potential for cure through early detection
Early detection has the most impact on successful treatment of maligne diseases. All women und men 45 years or older should take advantage of early recognition measures. Modern imaging and laboratory procedures can help to detect early stage kidney, bladder or urinary tract ailments. Self observation ist also important for all ages: For instance testicular cancer does not beset only older men, most patients are between 25 and 35 years old.

Prostate carcinoma: The most frequent male cancer
With targeted preventive examinations, early stages of the illness can be detected and cured in over 70% of all cases. The earlier the recognition, the better the prospects for cure, and more importantly the gentler the treatment that might (may) be required. With early recognition the best prospects for cure are achieved, and more importantly, potentially gentle treatments may be possible.)

Protection maximized with minimal-invasive techniques

Today gentle forms of surgery used to treat benign diseases will avoid side-effects. For instance female inability to hold urine can be successfully treated on an out-patient basis, without an abdominal incision, by implanting a transobturtaoric sling.

Even prostate cancer can be treated with modern forms of radiotherapy, a radical prostatectomy is rarely needed. A detailed interview with an extensive physical examination build the foundation for exact diagnosis as well as selection of the appropriate treatment of choice.
